How To Get Potential Sellers Emailing & Calling You, Without Wasting Time Cold Calling

Dear Searchfunders & Acquisition Entrepreneurs,

Are you looking to acquire a business?

Have you been frustrated with trying to get ahold of business owners to see if they're interested in selling?

Are you looking to find potentially motivated sellers?...

But, you don't know where to start?

Here is where you start:

  1. Buy these letter templates,
  2. Tweak them for your niche/industry,
  3. Follow my instructions (emotional triggers; persistent letters).

If you do so, then you'll have business owners contacting you,

Without having to make awkward cold calls.

At the request of searchfunders and my wildly popular post on Searchfunder.com titled:

"2 Best Ways To Find Motivated Sellers, Off-Market Deals" (click here for the full post)

I have decided to share my letter templates,

That I have been mailing to US physical therapy practice owners.

My team (Fieldmaker Group) and I are seeking PT acquisitions.

And, these are the exact letters versions

That I've physically mailed out thousands of times.

(I started manually, and once I started having owners contact me...

Then, I began using a mail stop to send out my letters every 14 days.)

The only way to confirm that your sourcing letters actually "work"

Is to get potential sellers to email you or call you.

That is a conversion.

Where they decide to action and contact you.

Once they do, then you know they're somewhat serious

About the possibility of selling their business.

In my experience, most of the time these business owners

Do not have a broker/advisor retained at this point

Because they are either too early in the process of considering exiting

Or, because they are going to lead negotiations themselves.

If they are negotiating on their own, then it's an

"Off-market deal" where you likely can get a sweet deal

Instead of a broker with a large asking price or a bidding war.

Aside from mailing paper letters,

You can use these letter templates with:

  • Cold LinkedIn messages (free)
  • Cold LinkedIn InMail messages (paid)
  • Cold email (free, if you can find their email addresses)
  • Cold calls if you call the biz, ask for the owner, and intro yourself

As you'll find out when reviewing my letter templates...

The most effective approach is to speak to:

"What's in it for me?" ("me" being the the owner/seller)

The letter templates shouldn't have too much information about you.

The business owners don't care about you.

My letter templates show you a proven and persuasive way

To hit on their emotional triggers

Which not only sets you apart from other potential buyers

But, it gets their attention in a unique way.

Most business owners tell me things like...

  • "I get these types of letters and emails often from corporates and private equity, but I liked what you had to say here."
  • "I'm calling you because of you sent me several letters, and it seems like we have some things in common."
    • You will need to send each owner many, many letters.
    • Always ask them: "What was it about my letter that caught your attention?"
    • Whatever they say is probably what they care about most. Keep speaking about how you could help them with that with a potential deal

Any way, you can see that I have a lot of experience in these sourcing letters

So, if you have read this far down...

Then, buying this short cut might be the "cheat code" you've been looking for.

Finally, I work in public.

Check out "The Dave Kittle Show" on iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube.

It's content marketing to teach physical therapy owners how to sell.

Genius, right? I know. And, it's working.

But, I started with the letters... and I still mail them out intermittently.

Best of luck in your endeavors,
